Attukad Waterfalls
Attukad waterfalls lies about 9 kms from the Munnar town enroute to Pallivasal / Cochin. One can enjoy the real beauty of this waterfall soon after the monsoon months. The waterfalls can be seen from the road itself but its wild beauty can be enjoyed only by getting close to it. The walk upto the waterfall itself is a nice experience. It’s also a favourite location for trekkers and also for the nature loving photographers.
Nyayamakad waterfalls
This waterfall is located between Munnar and Rajamala, is a breathtaking waterfall. It is placed around 10 km away from Munnar. Located inside Eravikulam National Park, the water here drops from a height of 1600 meters cascading through rocks. Trekking is a popular activity here. One can enjoy the marvelous views of surrounding valleys of Western Ghats including Animudi and other peaks.
