- Day 1 : Cochin to Munnar Arrive Cochin airport / Railway station, our executive meet you on arrival and explain the tour to you and later drive to Munnar (140 kms / 3.30 – 4. hrs). Munnar is one of the most famous hill station situated on the Western Ghats at the height of 1600 metres above the sea level. It is essentially a tea town – miles of unending tea plantation can be seen here. Enroute see Cheeyappara, Valara water falls and Karadipara View Point. Also see Spice plantations, Rubber Plantations, Pineapple garden etc… Arrive and check into the hotel. Evening free for shopping. Overnight at hotel Day 2 : Munnar After breakfast proceed for Munnar sightseeing. Morning visit Mattupetty dam, Echo point and Kundala Lake. Boating facilities are available at Mattupetty Dam and Kundala Lake. While coming back see flower garden. Later visit a tea factory and tea museum. Afternoon visit Eravikulam National Park which is also known as Rajamala is the natural habitat of Nilgiri Thar. Nilgiri Thar can be observed very closely here. Overnight at hotel Optional Activities at Munnar : Motor boat or speedboat ride at Mattupetty Dam, Elephant Safari, Ayurveda Massage etc. Shopping : Tea, coffee, Spices Day 3 : Munnar to Alleppey : Houseboat stay After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Alleppey (190 kms / 4 – 5 hrs) the backwater destinations of Kerala. Arrive and check in to Houseboat which is also called as Kettuvallom (the boat will ready around 1200 hrs) and begin your journey through the picturesque backwaters and small lakes of Kerala. Your houseboat has bedrooms with attached toilet, a dining area cum sit out. There will be 3 accompanying staff in the boat. One driver, one helper and one cook. Lunch, Evening Tea, Snacks and Dinner will be cooked and served on board by the accompanying cook. In AC Boat AC is installed in bedroom and it will switch on from 9 pm to 6 am only. overnight at Houseboat. Day 4 : Alleppey to Kanyakumari Morning after breakfast Houseboat drop you at nearest Jetty around 0900 hrs where our car and driver wait for you, Later drive to Kanyakumari (290 kms / 6 – 7 hrs). Kanyakumari is situated at the southern most and is the confluence of Indian Ocean, Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea. On the way visit Padmanabhapuram Palace. The interesting places to see at Kanyakumari are Vivekananda Rock Memorial, which is accessible by boat, Gandhi memorial, Devi temple, Wax Museum, Bay watch amusement park etc.. . Later see sunset. Overnight stay at hotel Shopping : Shell Products Day 5 : Kanyakumari to Kovalam Early morning see Sunrise, later after breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Kovalam (80 kms / 2 – 2.30 hrs). Enroute See Poovar backwaters. Arrive and check in to hotel, after freshenup visit nearby beach and overnight stay. Day 7 : Kovalam to Trivandrum departure After Breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Trivandrum (20 kms / 30 minutes) do sightseeing, interesting places to see are Padmanabha swami temple, Horse shoe museum, Chaitram Art gallery and Zoo.
