Day 1 : Cochin to Munnar Arrive Cochin airport / Railway station, our executive meet you on arrival and explain the tour to you and later drive to Munnar (140 kms / 3.30 – 4. hrs). Munnar is one of the most famous hill station situated on the Western Ghats at the height of 1600 metres above the sea level. It is essentially a tea town – miles of unending tea plantation can be seen here. Enroute see Cheeyappara, Valara water falls and Karadipara View Point. Also see Spice plantations, Rubber Plantations, Pineapple garden etc… Arrive and check into the hotel. Evening free for shopping. Overnight at hotel Day 2 : Munnar After breakfast proceed for Munnar sightseeing. Morning visit Mattupetty dam, Echo point and Kundala Lake. Boating facilities are available at Mattupetty Dam and Kundala Lake. While coming back see flower garden. Later visit a tea factory and tea museum. Afternoon visit Eravikulam National Park which is also known as Rajamala is the natural habitat of Nilgiri Thar. Nilgiri Thar can be observed very closely here. Overnight at hotel Optional Activities at Munnar : Motor boat or speedboat ride at Mattupetty Dam, Elephant Safari, Ayurveda Massage etc. Shopping : Tea, coffee, Spices Day 3 : Munnar to Thekkady After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Thekkady (110 kms / 3.30 hrs) which is also known as Periyar. Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the world’s most fascinating natural wildlife reserves. Enroute see Gap Road, view Point, Anayirangal Dam, Spice Plantations etc. At Thekkady enjoys a boating (on own – costs around 250 per person) at man made lake and this is the only wild life sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing wildlife at close from the safety of a boat on the lake. The probable animals to watch are Bison, Gaur, Wild Elephants, Sambhar and a wide variety of birds. Evening free for shopping. Overnight at hotel. Day 4 : Thekkady Full day free for activities like : Jeep Safari, Nature Walk, Spice Plantation tour, Ayurveda Massage, Martial Arts Kalaripayattu Show, Kathakali show, Elephant ride etc. Shopping : Tea, Coffee, Spices, Antiques etc. Day 5 : Thekkady to Alleppey : Houseboat stay After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Alleppey (160 kms / 4.30 -5 hrs) the backwater destinations of Kerala. Arrive and check in to Houseboat which is also called as Kettuvallom (the boat will ready around 1200 hrs) and begin your journey through the picturesque backwaters and small lakes of Kerala. Your houseboat has bedrooms with attached toilet, a dining area cum sit out. There will be 3 accompanying staff in the boat. One driver, one helper and one cook. Lunch, Evening Tea, Snacks and Dinner will be cooked and served on board by the accompanying cook. In AC Boat AC is installed in bedroom and it will switch on from 9 pm to 6 am only. overnight at Houseboat. Day 6 : Alleppey to Kovalam Morning after breakfast Houseboat drop you at nearest Jetty around 0900 hrs where our car and driver wait for you, later drive to Kovalam, the beach destination (175 kms / 3.30 hrs). Arrive and check in to the hotel, rest of the day at leisure at hotel / beach. Overnight stay at Hotel. Day 7 : Kovalam – Trivandrum Sight seeing After Breakfast proceed for Trivandrum sightseeing. The interesting places to see are Padmanabha swami temple, Horse shoe museum, Chaitram Art gallery, Zoo and Shanghumugham Beach. Overnight stay at Hotel Shopping : Shell Products, Antique, Textile etc. Day 8 : Kovalam to Trivandrum departure Kerala Honeymoon Packages Morning after Breakfast checkout from hotel and Drive to Trivandrum airport / Railway station to depart your home town (20 kms / 30 minutes)End of a fabulous Holiday !
