23/1/16 : Cochin to Thekkady

Start from Exhibition venue to  Thekkady (190 kms / 5.30 – 6  hrs) which is also known as Periyar. Periyar is one of the world’s most fascinating natural wildlife reserves.  Arrive and checkin to hotel.   Afternoon boating (on own – will cost around rs. 250/- per person) at man made lake and this is the only wild life sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing wildlife at close from the safety of a boat on the lake.  The probable animals to watch are Bison, Gaur, Wild Elephants, Sambhar and a wide variety of birds. Rest of the day free for individual activities.  Evening free for shopping. Here you can buy high quality Tea, Coffee and Spices. Dinner and Overnight stay at Hotel

24/1/16 : Thekkady to Munnar

Morning after breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Munnar (100 kms / 3  hrs). Munnar is one of the most famous hill station situated on the Western Ghats at the height of 1600 metres above the sea level. It is essentially a tea town – miles of unending tea plantation can be seen here. Enrote see Spice plantations, Anayirangal Dam, Gap Road view point etc.

 Shopping : Tea, Coffee, Spices, Antiques etc.

25/1/16 : Munnar sight seeing

After breakfast proceed for Munnar sightseeing. Morning visit Eravikulam National Park which is also known as Rajamala, the natural habitat of Nilgiri Thar. Nilgiri Thar can be observed very closely here. Later visit a Tea Factory / Tea Museum. Afternoon visit Mattupetty dam, Echo point and  Kundala Lake. Boating facilities are available at Mattupetty Dam and Kundala Lake. While coming back visit flower garden. Evening free for shopping. Overnight at hotel  :

Optional Activities at Munnar : Motor boat or speedboat ride at Mattupetty Dam, Kundala Lake, Elephant Safari, Horse ride at Kundala,  Trekking, Ayurveda Massage etc.

26/1/15 : Munnar to Cochin drop

After breakfast checkout from hotel and proceed to Cochin, if time permit do Cochin sight seeing. Interesting places to see are St. Francis Church, Jewish Synagogue, Jew Street, Dutch Palace, Chinese fishing nets etc later drop at Airport / Railway station to depart your home town..
