- Day 1 : Trivandrum to Kanyakumari Arrive Cochin Airport / Railway Station and drive to Kanyakumari (approx. 90 KMs / 2.30 – 3 hrs). Kanyakumari is situated at the southern most and is the confluence Indian Ocean, Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea. On the way visit Padmanabhapuram Palace (if you are tired you can visit tomorrow while coming back also). Arrive and check in to hotel, later sight seeing of Kanyakumari see Vivekananda Rock Memorial, which is accessible by boat, Gandhi memorial, Wax Museum and Devi temple. Late evening see Sunset. Overnight stay. Shopping : Shell products Day 2 : Kanyakumari to Kovalam Early morning see sunrise later after breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Kovalam (90 kms/ 2.30 hrs). Enroute see Poovar backwaters. Arrive and check in to hotel, rest of the day at leisure at beach, evening visit nearby beaches. Overnight stay at Hotel. Day 3 : Kovalam – Trivandrum sight seeing After Breakfast go for Trivandrum sight seeing (20 kms / 30 minutes) interesting places to see are Padmanabhaswami temple, Zoo, Horse shoe museum and Chaitram Art gallery. Later free for shopping. Late afternoon visit Shangumugham Beach. Evening return to Hotel and night stay. Shopping : Antique, Textiles, Jewelry etc Day 4 : Kovalam to Alleppey or Kumarakom : Houseboat stay Morning after breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Kumarakom or Alleppey (190 kms / 4 – 4.30 hrs) the backwater destination of Kerala. Arrive and check in to Houseboat which is also called as Kettuvallom (the boat will ready around 1200 hrs) and begin your journey through the picturesque backwaters and small lakes of Kerala. Your houseboat has bedrooms with attached toilet, a dining area cum sit out. There will be 3 accompanying staff in the boat. One driver, one helper and one cook. Lunch, Evening Tea, Snacks and Dinner will be cooked and served on board by the accompanying cook. In AC Boat AC is installed in bedroom and it will switch on from 9 pm to 6 am only. overnight at Houseboat. Day 5 : Alleppey or Kumarakom to Cochin departure Kanyakumari Tour Packages Morning after breakfast houseboat drop you at nearest Jetty around 0900 hrs where our car and driver wait for you, later come to Cochin (75 kms / 1.30 hrs) if time permit do Cochin sight seeing. interesting places to see are St. Francis Church, Fort Cochin, Chinese Fishing nets, Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jew Street, etc and later drop at Airport (1.30 hrs) or Railway station (30 minutes) Shopping : Antique, Textiles, Jewelry etc End of a fabulous Holiday !
